Ambassador Year in China at SOAS - a journey of exploration!

The Ambassador Year in China team would like to thank SOAS, University of London, for hosting our first UK 'Insights into East Asia Afternoon' on Thursday, 16th May - a historic date!

Students from fields including anthropology, media studies, and international politics took part in workshops and consultations on East Asian cultures.  

SOAS provided the ideal venue for the UK premiere of 'Insights into East Asia'.  It was thrilling to embark on this journey of cultural exploration with SOAS students.

Our Shanghai-headquartered team would like to convey special thanks to the superb careers service and employer engagement team at SOAS for their support and enthusiasm.

A choice of Chinese flower tea and Japanese genmaicha was provided at the 'Insights into East Asia Afternoon'.

We look forward to returning to SOAS, and we hope other outstanding venues will be interested in hosting East Asian cultural events in the near future.
