The University of Lincoln, rated Gold on the UK Teaching Excellence Framework (2017) and lauded as Modern University of the Year in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, is located in one of the most charming historic cities in the UK.
In 2020, the University of Lincoln became one of the first UK universities, and among the first internationally, to develop and offer its selected final-year students a tailor-made Ambassador Year in China graduate scheme.
Strong applicants who had passed the University of Lincoln’s initial pre-screening went on to impress the Ambassador Year in China team’s interviewing team, and were appointed as the first ever University of Lincoln Graduate Ambassadors.
We’re very proud that the first cohort of University of Lincoln Graduate Ambassadors (2021-2) includes outstanding graduates with a range of talents and career aspirations, drawn from an array of subject areas (including Law and International Relations).
The Ambassador Year in China team is extremely grateful to the University of Lincoln’s Global Opportunities team, International Careers team and International Office for their generous support and for helping to make the Lincoln-AYC graduate scheme a success. We have also been delighted by academic interest in the programme and support from Lincoln International Business School.
University of Lincoln Graduate Ambassadors have been placed together at two of the groundbreaking Thomas Schools of China in major Chinese cities. They have been briefed and have had the chance to network at a series of Lincoln-AYC ‘next steps’ and pre-departure webinars, and are expected to be involved in University of Lincoln events in China while serving in their pioneering roles.
