George Washington University had undergraduate students pursuing their global bachelor’s visit the AYC Shanghai office for a day. The students are currently studying at Fudan University for a semester where they take classes and explore cultural activities.
The day started off with an office tour by Career Development Consultant David Martinez followed by an AYC presentation by Program Coordinator Amy Zhang.
David then also got to speak with the students about cultural difference between western and Chinese hemispheres. Affiliates from Mandarin House also spoke about their Mandarin lessons provided through online courses.
At the end, lunch was provided. Some also got to film an interview with AYC staff discussing their experiences coming to China. They provided advice on what led them to come to China and what they could expect upon arrival.
