We are delighted to announce our first visit to the University of Aberdeen to offer a stimulating and informative 'Insights into East Asia' afternoon.

1 p.m. to 2 p.m. 'Opportunities in China and Northeast Asia' session - find out how to apply for the unique role of Educational Ambassador on the 2020-21 Ambassador Year in China Programme (goayc.org).  This one-hour presentation includes an efficient overview of the 10-month cultural exchange and teaching programme, insights into living and working in China, a visual tour of the country so as to put placements in geographical context, plus brief Q&A.

2 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. Daily Life in Japan - a former JET Programme participant will offer an interactive slideshow on aspects of Japanese culture and society, with cross-cultural comparisons and opportunities for fruitful discussion, plus signposts for those who are interested in applying for reputable work and funded study opportunities anywhere from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
